Welcome to our blog! We are Jim and Tisha Shuffield and last year we celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary! It started out as a grade school crush, and turned into high school sweethearts. And they said it wouldn’t last! Ha! We are the parents of Garrett, 16 and Riley 13, as well as, 3 crazy dogs! We are graduates of Texas Tech University and photography has always been a big part of both of our lives. We love what we do and think it comes across in all of our images and the fun we have during shoots.

We love Jesus, Sonic drinks (we gotta get our daily fix), 80's rock, wedding cake, traveling, date nights, running, spending time with family, small town life, and of course, photography.

The Woodard Family

Meet the Woodard family! We recently had an amazing family session with them out at their ranch, BSAK, which stands for “Be Still And Know.” Isn’t that a cool name?! Well, let me tell you first hand that it is such an appropriate name for the place. The beauty of the ranch is so amazing that if you stop to take it all in, you know that it is most definitely the artwork of God!

Just as beautiful as the ranch, was this precious family! It has been two years since our last family photo session and Laney has grown so much!! Little Laney was all smiles as we moved from location to location with their lab, Georgia, entertaining us along the way! Soon Laney will have a little brother to join her in her bluebonnet adventures!

Thanks Brad and Linsey… you guys are amazing!!

Kinsey~Brady High School Senior

Tuesday, April 24, 2012 Seniors

We have been blessed to have some really amazing seniors this year, and Kinsey is the latest in that list! We have known her for years, and it is a little hard for us to believe that she is already graduating! We shot at various locations around town, but the backdrop didn’t really even matter because she looked absolutely gorgeous!

Kinsey is an avid golfer and helped the Lady Bulldogs achieve a third place finish in the regional golf tournament! She plans to study nursing at Tarleton State University in the Fall! Thanks Kinsey, we had a blast!

Drs. David & Dinah Cummings

Monday, April 23, 2012 Weddings

Dinah and David were married last month in Lubbock, Texas. Their beautiful wedding was at the First Baptist Church and dinner and dancing followed at the Lubbock Country Club! The small rain showers during the day did not dampen the mood! Dinah was radiant and stunning! It was such an honor to spend this special day with a family that has been so special in my life! Sweet blessings to David and Dinah as they begin their journey together!

Kristyn ~ Brady High School Senior

Wednesday, April 11, 2012 Seniors

Well, senior season is definitely under way for us! This is not only the second post and second senior of the day, it is also the second Kristyn! (Although the spelling is a little different!) We met Kristyn at Selah Springs Ranch which provided us a beautiful backdrop for photos that only God could create! Equally stunning was the subject of our photo session! Kristyn is a senior at Brady High School and has a passion for sports, especially basketball! The Lady Bulldogs went deep into the playoffs this year and were so exciting to watch! Kristyn plans to attend Texas State University!

Thanks Kristyn for putting up with us and for climbing the hill over and over again! We had so much fun!

Kristin ~ San Saba High School Senior

Wednesday, April 11, 2012 Seniors

We met Kristin in San Saba last week for a senior photo shoot. She looked absolutely beautiful as we photographed her on an equally beautiful central Texas afternoon! After shooting around her home, we set out on an adventure that took us to the amazing Harry’s downtown as well as a really cool old hotel that is in the process of being restored. Located in the city square, the Burden Hotel was constructed in 1857 and was the city’s fourth structure!

We had so much fun getting to know Kristin and her family! Kristin’s lab, Brandy, joined in on the photo session and then took a quick swim around the pool! Kristin is an avid softball player with the Lady Armadillos, and plans to attend Texas A&M University.
