Shuffield Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome!

Welcome to our blog! We are Jim and Tisha Shuffield and last year we celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary! It started out as a grade school crush, and turned into high school sweethearts. And they said it wouldn’t last! Ha! We are the parents of Garrett, 16 and Riley 13, as well as, 3 crazy dogs! We are graduates of Texas Tech University and photography has always been a big part of both of our lives. We love what we do and think it comes across in all of our images and the fun we have during shoots.

We love Jesus, Sonic drinks (we gotta get our daily fix), 80's rock, wedding cake, traveling, date nights, running, spending time with family, small town life, and of course, photography.

We are located Deep in the Heart of Texas, a.k.a. Brady, and are available for worldwide travel. If you would like to know more, check out the More About Us page, drop us an , connect with us on Facebook & Twitter, or give us a call.

Baby Olivia & Big Brother Kalen

We were so excited to photograph baby Olivia and her big brother Kalen! Newborn photoshoots are normally done between 5-8 days old. However, Olivia was a happy, hearty one month old! She did really great!! She is absolutely beautiful and has a ton of gorgeous hair! Big brother Kalen was in some photos but was thrilled to be finished so that he could work on his batting skills!

Reece ~ Brady High School Senior

Reece was so lucky! He picked the one day in April that we had temperatures over 100 degrees to schedule his senior session! Always a true gentleman, Reece put up with our quirky posing and instructions with a smile on his face! He even taught us a new pose, but we are not at liberty to explain it here!!

Reece plans to attend Texas Tech. Thanks Reece, good luck with your future endeavors!

Meagan ~ Brady High School Senior

It is funny how so many things come full circle! It was exactly 25 years ago that I was a bridesmaid in Meagan’s mom and dad’s wedding!! Wow! Makes me feel old! Meagan is the youngest daughter of Eddie and Melissa Sayles. She is planning on attending Texas Tech University in the fall to study history and archeology. She was such a natural in front of the camera that she made our job very easy! Meagan, you are so beautiful and we can’t wait to see what all God has in store for you!

The Chavanne Family

We met the Chavanne’s at their ranch, Selah Springs Ranch, for a family session! My oh my, these precious baby girls are growing up so quickly!! A little birdie told us that Sophie really likes bubbles so JJ ran to the store before our session and found a bubble machine that would produce 4,000 BPM!!! That’s right! 4,ooo Bubbles Per Minute!! Well, needless to say, it was a huge hit with Sophie! She loved it! She did so great during the session that we sent that monster bubble machine home with her! Thanks Chavannes!! It’s always a joy to spend time with your precious family!!

Robyn and iI just looked at these again! And Robyn says these are serious hallmark moments! She also said to me, “Don’t be offended when I call the Shuffield’s to do my family pictures.” And I say, “Amen to that! I’m gonna do the same ;) ” Love y’all :)

Paige ~ San Saba High School Senior

We have had the absolute funnest senior girls this year and Paige was no exception!! She had scouted out some locations in San Saba and I had a few in mind also and the day couldn’t have been any prettier!! Special thanks to Katie for all of her assistance and to Marshal who helped Paige find some cool spots!

Paige will be attending Texas Tech in the fall! She is minoring in photography so I gave her a quick lesson on which lenses I was using and why! LOL! Paige looked fabulous and she found one of the coolest prom dresses that I have ever seen! Best of luck, Paige!! You were so fun to photograph!!
